It is said that the marketing scale of Japanese’s cosplay industry has been more than 40billion yen.

COSPLAY activities are held all over Japan. And there are tremendous COSPLAY fans gathered

in all kinds of cosplay forums or websites. Why do Japanese like COSPLAY so much? Some

Japanese specialists do some research and analyze this phenomenon from a psychological point.

The specialists said that those who love COSPLAYSALES  deeply may more or less feel dissatisfied with

themselves in real life. They want to change their identity so that COSPLAY becomes a way that

can fulfill their anticipants. This psychological sense is somehow similar to females who want to

make them beautiful by make up or plastic surgery. They just differ in degrees. Those who

accepting plastic surgery are not satisfied with their body while those who like COSPLAY are not

satisfied with their personality.

It is said that females are easier indulged in COSPLAY than males. And the specialists said that is

because the females are grown by the idea that “you will be welcome if you are lovely”. So

females would prefer to use their favorite character to cover up their shortcomings.

In a word, they are also willing to pay more money on COSPLAY costume, props and accessories.
